Fabulous Sunday Finds!

So instead of embroidering all day, we decided to rent a Zipcar and run errands. Having a car isn't necessary for daily life in Eugene, but about once a month we'll grab a car and run all over town. We live pretty far from the big shopping centers, including Joann Fabrics, so I have to keep a running list of things I need throughout the month.

Today we grabbed some awesome things. From Joann Fabrics I got 37 new colors of floss, some floss bobbins (because my embroidery bag is getting very tangled!), some stainless steel earring hooks so I can make cool embroidered earrings for my Etsy Shop, and some wool. I want to experiment making a hat for myself... Very exciting :)

Tyler also purchased a brand new Yamaha acoustic electric guitar. Tyler is an awesome music (listen to his serious 80's throwback synth music here) but has been without a guitar since we moved to Eugene last year. This is definitely the nicest guitar he's ever owned, so I'm really happy for him. I had to convince him to spend the money, but it's definitely well worth it and something he's been wanting for a long time!

Have a wonderful evening!

  2. You got all sorts of cute stuff! I love JoAnn, too. I go there more often than I should, but there's nowhere else to buy affordable fabric around here!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :-)

  3. I love JoAnn fabrics. I was just there on Saturday. They had an awesome sale on Guttermann thread and I had a 10% coupon. I really should invest stock in that store since they see so much of my money!

I found you via The Blue Eyed Owl blog hop!
