Sunny Mornings: What I Wore

I figured it was about time I showed y'all a bit more of myself and my style. I'm all about comfort and affordability, but not to mention lookin' rad all well!

I will be the first to admit that Target is my favorite store. I think they have really pretty clothes, and I can afford them for sure. I also love to thrift, but finding good things that fit me can be tough sometimes.

I am super body positive and whenever I buy clothes, I make sure they fit the body that I currently have, not the body I want or plan on having, because who knows that will ever happen, you know?

So it was a beautiful sunny morning, and I have to share my outfit. Pretty much it's all Target, but with a little thrift thrown in.

I'm new at this whole "blog" thing so my "What I Wore" pictures will improve with time :)

Mustard shrug, pants, and shoes: Target
Blouse: Thrifted, from the Clothes Horse in Eugene, OR (the brand is "Ana")

I'm planning posting pictures of my teeny tiny apartment soon, once I get it cleaned up. So in the meantime, there's your little glimpse. That chair was thrifted from a Saint Vincent de Paul's for about $15, not bad! I also made those lace curtains. We have South-facing windows so it's typically really bright when the sun is out, but since we live in Eugene that doesn't happen too often in the winter. We're preparing for the 4 months of Winter-Spring rain we're due for!

Have a lovely day :)

  1. I can't seem to understand why some choose to buy clothes that are 2 size smaller. Jeans that are on the verge to explode don't look flattering. Not to mention it's damaging the blood circulation. And the list could go on. So I congratulate you on your healthy thinking.
If I may give you a piece of advice regarding these kind of post, try and make yourself the main focus point. For instance here, the chair is the first thing to pop. Try just in front of a wall, or outside somewhere that you like or in front of a window. Just make sure your are facing towards the light as opposed to have the light in your back or highlighting just half of you. These would be my suggestions:)

    1. Thanks! Really good suggestions. I also don't have a nice camera at my disposal, I just use an iPhone.
